By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, βIn Isaac your seed shall be called,β concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

When God gave us our first son, I called him Isaac, because he was both to signify and help to usher in our promises from God. Just like in the Bible.
I did not know what was coming down the pike as a freshfaced, expectant twenty-five year-old new momma of two (then: middle girl and the twins were not yet).
Isaac has left us. He is becoming a part of another household. My heart is broken.
But I believe the promises that God has given me. I trust him. I am hanging on and believing for a miracle.
Thats what.
Now I’m going to go bake. I need some self care. π
