The freakout threshold


I was talking to my counselor about some huge losses that have come to me recently.  It’s like someone DIED.  Mega ouch.

I was telling her that I’m actually doing ok with a financial ouch and with this virus thingie.   I have reached the freak out threshold.

I am TOTALLY broken hearted already.  You cannot get more broken hearted than TOTALLY.

So anything extra is just one more potato for the pot.  You know?

Like feeding kids.  You’re already maxed out…just add one more potato and don’t sweat it.

They say if you need something done, give it to a busy person.

Like that.

I think there’s a spiritual truth there somewhere.  

Selah.  or Stick it in my pipe and smoke it.
